Aruka turned around to see who began calling her name. For once, she was relieved when she saw a familiar person calling her. She smiled, waving happily to her friend.

"Hi Shiomi-chan," she greeted, bouncing towards the girl as she approached them.

During her stay in his strange world, she met Shiomi; she never told her much about her, but she was nice and Aruka never prodded her to tell her how she got to the strange land, 'cause at the time, she never really knew she was in it.

"So how have you been?"Shiomi asked. Shiomi knew very little about Aruka. Shiomi didn'y know many people but she didn't mind she had a few friends and that was all that mattered. Shiomi looked up at some birds flying by she loved nature.

Misoka's head was spinning as she returned to Hikaru, she had left for only a moment after a plump juicy apple had taunted her and now returned apple in hand to find two more humans! She walked forth with her usual caution to Aruka. "Ano.." she began to say before looking into the eyes of Shiomi. She turned on her heels and faced Aruka "Neechan?" she asked hoping she understood. These people didnt seem mean, in fact they seemed alot like the other humans she had met and so Misoka didn't want to offend them by simply saying "Who are these people"

((ooc: Sorry, just want to get my hand back in Randamu Hausu, I'm just warming up my muse here xD))

Hikaru looked around her at all the people around her, suddenly feeling very, very overwhelmed. To get away from everything, she entered further into the cave, a more welcoming feeling of nostalgia returning. Then she turned her head in order to look closely at "Blue-san". Her eyes swept over the injured dragon, and the familiar feeling of humbleness ran down her self. She knew, she knew who it was.

"...Selece..."

The Great Guardian narrowed his sharp eyes. In a deep, regal and rich voice, he uttered:

"Fire Knight, comrade and companion of the Sea Knight. Be united once again with thy Mashin."

And in a blinding flash that came suddenly, Hikaru found herself in the Volcano Shrine of Fire, the floor and pillars engulfed in flames. She let the fire around her warm up her soul, and fell into a deep contentment of being within her element. And then, she looked towards the place where she knew...

Rayearth stood in his great Beast form, his very form made of flames, only His flames were different; they stood out from the rest, a brilliance and majesty that one cannot imagine unless seeing for themselves. Hikaru walked slowly towards the Fire Wolf and took His Muzzle within her hands ever so gently. Despite the fact that one would do the same thing to a pet dog, the action did not give out any sort of demeaning aura whatsoever. Rather, it only showed the bond between Knight and Mashin.

"Hikaru," he spoke, his deep voice echoing within the farthest corners of Hikaru's being, "Now, in this world, thou hast been tied to My Being once again. If thou art in need of My Aid, call My Name. I shall always appear before thee."

Another blinding flash, and the red-haired girl's consciousness returned to the cave. The vision was staggering, and her legs felt like jelly.

“Don’t worry Misoka-chan,” she beckoned her hand to her and smiled, “they are good people.” Aruka nuzzled on her hand, feeling the warmth filling her face, “I’m tired…”

Yawning, Aruka turned to look back at her dragon friend and found Hikaru had already made friends with him. She was glad; it was the first time she saw Blue interact with anyone other than herself. Bouncing on her feet, she hugged Misoka and took Shiomi’s hand as she pulled them away back to where Blue and Hikaru were.

“I brought some food, I’m famished and tired.”

Misoka smiled as her tail began to gently sway side to side. As odd as it was to her she seemed to radiate a happy glow for once in her life. She was surrounded by friends Human friends for probably the first time in the history of foxes and everything seemed to be perfect. The lies of her upbringing had been shattered by one random moment in her life. As she reflected on what she had been through her eyes scanned lazily over her surroundings.

A thought suddenly struck fear into the eyes of the small girl, what happened when she returned home? When and if she returned, the life of an outcast was all that awaited her. Nobody, her father especially, would accept her back after she had spent time with humans, but more important than exile was the thought that she didn't want to go back. Even if they accepted her back she would have to live once again with the lies they spread about humans. Neither scenario played out well for the small kitsune, either she is forced from her home, or forced to live a lie.

Misoka stood nibbling at an apple she had taken from Arukas basket. She paced the grass in a small circle for a moment before returning to the group once again. "Ano.." she began, still deep in thought "There's still so many questions..." she paused to gather her thoughts "We still don't know why we're here right? o..or how to go back" she seemed to continue speaking but her voice trailed off to silent mutterings. Her usual worried features once again plastered themselves on her face. She shook her head and scooped up another apple, discarding the core in her hand, 'Worry about it later you baka, everyone is trying to rest' she thought as she slumped down against a tree and began to nibble away at the fresh apple in hand.

Hikaru breathed heavily, and sweat covered her brow. Her knees buckled, and she felt a slight nausea. But on the other hand she felt as if a piece of her heart returned, and that she was whole, for her Mashin has returned to her side.

After the effects of the vision subsided, Hikaru returned to the group, taking an apple from the pile of fruit. After listening to what Misoka-chan had to say, she took a moment to think and replied,"I think we're here to accomplish something; I'm not sure, but it's a gut feeling." The apple flew up and down. Up and down.

'Yeah, a feeling not too unfamiliar,' she thought bitterly.

Aruka furrowed her brows and began to tear pieces of bread on her lap, never even caring to take a bite of it. The thought of Misoka’s queries made her wonder; what must be done to get them out of this situation- were they subject to remain as they are forever, or are there things they must do in order to gain their lost identities.

An identity; what is her true identity, and why does Hikaru seem to know a lot about her she keeps form telling. Glancing over the red head, Aruka fixed a locked stare at her. Hikaru- was she a friend? Yes, definitely; there was something about her that made her heart feel at ease even during their acquaintance. Then it struck her-

Falling; up in the sky, she saw a floating mountain, an ocean and a volcano. The place looked familiar, but it wasn’t this world; somewhere else. A gigantic flying fish saved them from their fall- them? Aruka blinked, still staring at Hikaru.

‘Are these, memories..?’ clutching her hand on the bread she halved and tore earlier, Aruka felt butterflies in her stomach and slight weariness.

Averting her gaze from Hikaru, the small girl looked at Blue, who sat in the corner of the shade; the dragon had been with her when she came into this world, unfortunately, he injured himself trying to protect Aruka from their fall. Before coming to this world, she was flying across a great sky- with flying robotic like creatures flying by her side. They were…

“Racing,” Aruka muttered, “I was racing, somewhere in the sky, when a bright light suddenly blinded my way, and the next thing I know…”

She fell silent, biting her lip in surprise as for the first time in her journey to the strange land; she was able to recall memories.

“I fell from the sky, and Blue was with me. I was screaming some names, although,” she sighed, drawing her head down, “I can’t seem to recall…”

At first, Hikaru was puzzled at Aruka-chan's mumblings, but then it hit her. Letting her apple slip onto the floor; her scarlet eyes widened as she stated quietly,"Aruka-chan's... memories... are returning!"

((ooc: I tried an anime formula approach. I thought, what would happen if this was an anime? The reason why it is short is because there's nothing else to add! >;3 ))

Shocked, Aruka unconsciously thumbed her temples as she looked at Hikaru with astounded eyes, “do you…” her voice trembled on her throat as she tried to get the words off her mouth, smiling hopefully, “do you really think,”

“Oh my!” she gasped, covering her mouth as she abruptly stood up, letting the torn bread fall from her lap. Aruka laid her hands in front of her and stared at them for a good moment, cupping her cheeks, feeling them warm up in exhilaration, her lips parting in a toothy grin.

“Memories, do you think those are my memories?” she hurriedly landed next to Hikaru, holding her hands with her small ones. “Can I be really your friend Umi?”
