Oh...This girl was in quite a predicament too. Hikaru could only imagine what it must of been like for a little girl to be alone and without a home or memories. Her sympathy led to a new resolute decision. That she'll get this girl to her home, no matter what.

Giving Aruka another soft smile, Hikaru kneeled down and held the child's shoulders gently but firmly with her surprisingly strong hands, hoping to comfort and encourage her. Wavy strands of her bangs fluttered gently as a breeze picked up and blew the grass in waves.

"You'll definitely get home, I promise. And I won't leave your side until you do, okay? Your Onee-chan will protect you."

But that there was wind and grass and flowers... Hikaru was sure that this place was made by Mokona also, so she knew she could feel at least a little bit more at ease. If only Mokona were here to explain everything!

Hikaru inwardly slapped herself, this was no time to feel sorry for ourselves. But how were they going to get out of here? Hikaru wasn't sure if she could make a Road here, and even if she could, she didn't know where Aruka-chan's home was, so it wouldn't be helping them. The only thing to do was to explore this place a bit more and see if there was anything or anyone that could help them.

She really wished that Umi-chan and Fuu-chan were here.

"Onee-chan?"

Aruka repeated, wondering why she had to use that word. Confused and uncertain, Aruka started to wander her eyes around her. Worried, she didn't really know what to do and what exactly happened to her. Moments ago, when she arrived, she was caught by a ripple of water surrounding her when she dropped on the waters. There was no explanation to it and it bothered her.

"Weird things had been happening since I got here... I really don't know much, but I pretty much started and doing this routine after. And old man told me what this place was, then poof, he disappeared."

Walking towards the river bank, Aruka looked down on her reflection in the water.

"AHH!"

She screamed to the top of her lungs, grabbing the attention of her company. Hikaru hurried over to her, eyes concerned on her.

"I... I... I'm a kid!"

Aruka stammered, shocked in disbelief and wonder.

"This can't be... What's happening to me?!"

Hikaru ran over to the Aruka in distress, then her eyes widened at the girl's exclamation. She wasn't a kid in the first place...? Who was she then? This place can change your age too? All this made Hikaru a bit overwhelmed, but she calmed herself again and then tried to calm down Aruka aswell. This could actually mean that her new companion was regaining her memories too.

Taking the girl's shoulders again, th Fire Knight said,

"It's okay, Aruka-chan, now tell me, do you remember how old you were before? And what did the old man look like?"

This was perhaps a step towards returning home, and Hikaru felt a sense of anxiety at all that what was happening. But as she waited for the blue haired girl's response, Hikaru thought she heard something strange, something about high school girls, but quickly dismissed it as wishful thinking.

Aruka started recalling the reflection of her she saw earlier that day.

"Well, I remember being taller. Taller than you actually. And..."

Slidding the hood off her head, she revealed her long, straight silky bluish hair. Aruka closed her eyes in deep thought, trying to recall the blurry memories of her entry in this peculiar world. As she dug deeper into her memory, a sharp pang of pain struck her head, making her frail innocent face grimace in pain.

"It happens all the time. I tried remembering past events, but my head hurts alot when I do. But like you, I came falling from the sky as well. However, I'm not sure how that happened, or how I did that... it's all confusing."

Seeing the girl's long blue hair revealed, Hikaru's eyes widened; there was something familiar about this girl. Taking a few steps back, she observed the "little girl". Her eyes widened even further at a realization.

Orbs blinking, Hikaru took a long pause, then eventually stated,

"Y-you look just like..."

Is this girl... could she be...?

"Umi-chan? A-are you... Umi-chan?"

Aruka blinked, once, twice, thrice.

"Umi?"

She mumbled, repeating what the girl said. No clue, she didn't know. Aruka's brows furrowed, thinking once again deeply, trying to pry answers from within her. Hands crossed and a serious face covered her intirety.

"I-I don't know. Am I Umi..?"

Aruka asked back; everything made sense but was senseless. It was strange. She was oblivious and lost. Hikaru might be there, but she was alone. Only her memory could help her, but even that betrayed her. She inhaled a deep breath in, eyes closed as she collected her calm back.

"Aruka, Umi... doesn't matter. My memory will be back, I'm sure. And we'll get out of here, safe and sound."

A smile washed over her face, encouraging herself and the new found friend.

It was obvious that this girl was having a hard time with her amnesia, so Hikaru decided to not ask anything else, though looking at her gave her a feeling of melancholy. She missed Umi and Fuu.

If she was Umi, then what was going to happen to the two of them? She shook her head. She can't think like that. If it was Umi, then all Hikaru had to do was help her gain her memories. But the priority was getting themselves out of here. So she grinned once again at Aruka, or Umi.

"Mm. That's right. As long as we're together, then not even Mokona can stop us!"

Hikaru started walking in the direction that the river flowed, and gestured for Aruka to follow her.

"Mokona?"

Aruka mimicked. The name had a righ to it, but couldn't quite put a finger upon it. Instead, she just watched as the taller female walked beside her, talking.

"Uhm, so..."

She started fidgeting, eyes glancing and escaping from Hikaru's glare.

"Umi, is you're friend, right?"

Paused, Aruka took a moment before continuing on, working out a rather polite discussion with her friend, who seems to know about her, or what she thinks to be her.

"If I'm Umi... could you tell me things about 'me'?"

Hikaru stared at Aruka for a second, then smiled as she her memories of Umi resurfaced into her mind. Taking her gaze from the chibi-Umi, her braid wisping to and fro' along as they walked, she described her dear friend.

"E~to, Umi-chan, ne? She's a very energetic person, a bit short-tempered but very caring too. She's always the first to see if I'm alright; I think she worries a lot about me, since I can be a bit reckless. She gets mad at me during those times."

At that she rubbed the back of her head, laughing nervously.

"She always knows when I'm going to get in trouble, that Umi-chan."

Walking a bit further, Hikaru suddenly felt a chill down her spine, and instinctively passed her hand over her gloved hand, revealing a glittering broad sword of Escudo. She was automatically in her fighting stance, and her eyes were wide, searching for whatever sent a warning signal to her.

There was a rustling from Hikaru's back, and she immediately swerved in that direction, instinctively pulling Aruka behind her.

"Show yourself!"she yelled loudly, her eyes brimming with the fire of determination to protect.
