Do you guys think I should get a tattoo? Not a big one, just a small one. I've already thought of a design.
If I should get one, where should I put it, and why?
Also, is it OK to get a tattoo if you're a Christian? I'm 18 too, but I'm wondering how my dad would react to the idea...
This is the Tattoo I'm considering.

Hmm.. well, don't put it on either of your arms.. that's just.. too typical << everyone gets one there it seems :/ and arm tattoo's don't look good on women in my opinion =3 Lessee.. maybe on the back of your shoulder? I dunno..

Anyways, you just gotta ask your dad for his opinion =) I'm sure it's ok for christians to get a tattoo, I find it unlikely that there's a rule against it >>

In Christianity it's unacceptable to have tattoos and body piercings. It's sad but true.

In my opinion, I'm gonna have to say no, Tattoo's are cool and all but, they just aren't good for some people.

Hmm...well, I asked a bunch of my mature Christian friends-some of which are adults-and they said that it really depends on what the tattoo is of and where.

It depends on how devout in the Christian Faith you are.

If your hard core, then you won't. Somewhere in the Bible, I know it says that your not supposed to mark up God's body.

I know that...but I'm pretty sure that that verse was about tattooing your body with idols and stuff.

If your dad is a strict christian devout like my mom, then you shouldn't get a tatoo. I know how you feel, 'coz my mom doesn't like tattoo's and piercings, saying that its against the bible. Ask your dad first before you get one.

Or, get a henna instead. It's gonna wash off.

Your body is your own business, you shouldn't care what anyone else says about it. Of course I can say that since I don't live with anybody and only have to follow the rules set down by the state of Texas (otherwise known as 'laws'). But if your planning on moving out, you shouldn't care what your parents think of it. Your body, your life. Don't let anyone rule it for you.

But if I could make a suggestion...

Get it on the small of your back! Always a sexy place to put it. And it's easily concealable. Plus it gives us guys something to look at while doing doggy style. XDDD
