Setting: Hattori Compound, Kiri Sato, Water Country
Time: 4:56 A.M.
Situation:

A hawk lands on a window ceil on the northern edge of the house and squawks over and over tapping on the window. A half sleep man gets up and opens the window still wearing his lab coat.

"Anegawa...I was sleeping...you..." He yawns softly. "You know that's rare." Anegawa hops back and front on the ceil. "You're rather spunky at almost 5am. Did you catch a mouse or something?" Anegawa flew away north towards the Mizukage's Residence.

The man walks over to his mirror inspecting his face. "Well Shigure...you know you aren't going to sleep...you don't have to be at work for another 3 hours." In his mirror he can plainly see the moon. Shigure checked his watch. "It's 5:01...how is the moon still up? It should have went down at 12:41 am..."

He shook his head. "Now earth is going mad...I'll go to Lisa's Grave..I haven't been there in months. Welp...onward to Mihoshi Cliff..." Shigure stepped towards the door and began talking to himself. "Now which way is it again cause if I am not going to the hospital this maze of a vil..." The door shut.

Note: This is the first naruto story I have done in 1 year and it's a continuition of an old storyline I did called 'Secret Scrolls' but alot of the things have changed. The Akatsuki and all of the information are based even more heavily on Naruto this time. Also instead of being placed in the past this one is actually in the future. Uzumaki Naruto, Sixth Hokage, just died and a new Hokage has been appointed. You can insert your own character easily within the game. Please if you plan to battle make sure you are using the @CC:NG Combat module. This is why we have all of these things made. For them to be used.

Forest of Shadows, Kiri Sato, Water Country

Irumi grimaced at Nike's harsh treatment towards the new genin. She never really liked that spoiled brat Hattori; she acts like some social pain in the ass, and that was one of Irumi's most hated on her list. Turning to Miruki, who seem to have sensed her annoyance, he gripped her arm and shook his head just as she was about to lash out at Nike.

"What?!"

She shrieked angrily, darting her eyes sharply to Miruki's. Everyone turned to them, completely oblivious of the relation between them. Irumi glanced back at audience and frowned as she looked at Miruki again.

"I can't believe you just left her there; with him!"

Irumi yelled, pulling her arm away from Miruki- the hand that held the staff swung in the air, letting her fall from her balance. "Damn you, some Mizukage you turned out to be..." she spat, eyes burning with fury.

"She's got a good punch.." Ashi thought and let out a slight sigh, he adjusted the forehead protector back into it's rightful position, tilted slightly to the left across his forehead.

"Well.. you shouldn't be pissing women off like that, they can be dangerous you know," Zet, to Ashi's annoyance, pointed out.

Ashi didn't bother with replying, he just kept on going with the group, although he kept himself slightly away from them, he pocketed his hands as they kept going, looking around, he'd always liked this forest.. there was something about it that he found calming, although that calm was about to be broken..

"What?!" a girl in the group shrieked, Ashi found himself turning around along with the rest, curious about what was going on. He couldn't help but stare at the girl that had shrieked, she was.. pretty, very pretty..

"I can't believe you just left her there; with him!" the girl shouted, quite clearly very angry at the Mizukage. Ashi wasn't sure what was going on.. but he had no intention of interrupting her, he watched as the girl lost her balance and fell down on the ground.

"Should I help her up? No.. she's perfectly capable of doing it her self," Ashi thought to himself, seeing that the girl said something more, although Ashi didn't listen.

"It won't kill ya to do something good or nice every now and then, I'm sure she'd be grateful.. that or she'd stab you, whatever she'll do I'm sure you'll survive," Zet replied sheepisly.

Ashi let out a sigh, although it was irritating to admit.. Zet was usually right about things. Ashi walked slowly over to the girl and held out his arm, offering her his help to get up.

"Thanks."

Irumi muttered coldly, reaching her hand up as the new guy helped her back on her foot. She continously glared at Miruki and shook her head; rage still mounting on her sapphire eyes.

"I suppose I'm no longer needed here," she began, eyeing up all the shinobi's in the crowd. "And I'm sure you're gonna be fine, Mizukage-sama."

Ruefully stressing the title, Irumi turned her back and started to walk to a different direction. The Mizukage remained standing on his position, watching as Irumi pace away from them.

"If you plan to go back there," he spoke, darting towards the young genin, "I advice you to stay away. You're far too weak to even match up."

"I am, am I not?" Irumi turned her head back to him, pushing her hair back to her shoulders. "But if abilities count, shouldn't you be out there now?" from her angle, Irumi swore she saw Nike grimacing and hold out her katana. She simply shrugged her shoulders and snickered, as she began to walk away from them into the depths of the forest.

Miruki brushed past his escorts and headed off, motioning them to follow.

Forest of Shadows, Kiri Sato

Phobos wandered through the forest, incredibly bored and hating the feeling of it. He hummed to himself, wanting to hear something other then the birds and insects of the woods. He looked ahead and saw the path he had deviated from to try and find something to do, and saw the most beautiful women he had ever seen walking away from a group of people, and upon seeing her, he did something he hadn't done in years. He blinked twice to make sure he wasn't seeing things.

"Well, I found someone to talk to, and hopefully some excitement as well" he said to himself as he started walking towards the group of people. He saw Kiri forehead protectors on most of the people there, recognizing them as fellow Kiri shinobi. Phobos tryed to look as pleasant as possible, as he said when he got close enough,

"Hello gorgeous woman whom I do not know, may I ask if I might accompany you? " After saying this he waited for their response, hoping to get something to occupy his time.

Irumi glanced at him for sometime and passed by quickly, nodding her head as a response. It made her wonder why more and more genins began to show up, and at weird occassions too. She sighed, her hand swinging in the air while she cleared out the stray little branches out of her way. Eyeing the new genin from her corner of her eye, Irumi examanined him from head to foot and raised an eyebrow in question-

"So, what's a person like you doing here?" she asked, ceasing on her tracks as she came upon a clearing where the cliff met with the coast.

"Irumi, by the way..."

The girl looked up the stranger and held her hand out for a shake, eagerly waiting for him to reply to get this introduction over with.

Phobos reached out and took Irumi's hand, but instead of shaking it, he turned her hand slightly and bent down and kissed the back of herhand, then saying "A pleasure to meet you Miss Irumi-ka, my name is Phobos, and to answer why I am here, I was bored" He was a anti-social person on the whole, but he had learned to supress that in the presence of beautiful women, which the girl standing in front of him more then met that standard. "So, what's going on?"

Irumi cold returned to answer his question, drawing her hand back to her. Leaning up against a nearby tree, she watched the coast move into turbulent waves. Her eyes reflected the darkness of the surrounding, patting her nearly dried hair.

"Have you been living in a cave or something?" she picked up the conversation again, looking at Phobos directly now. "Everyone already got word that they needed to evacuate, and yet, here you are wandering off, saying that you're out 'cause you're bored..."

Irumi placed her hands in her dress pocket and walked over to Phobos, circling him around as she inspected him.

"Are you sure you're from Kiri?" she sarcastically asked, beaming upon him slightly.

Forest of Shadows, Kirigakure no Sato

The sounds of the dead leaves under his sandals crunched and crunched with every step he took. Deeper and deeper, he traveled down the path that had been laid out infront of him, not fully knowing his destination, but having an ickly feeling in his gut that if he continued down this way, he would find what he was looking for. Why was he following a mere thought, he did not know. It had been like this since he woke up, the young Genin known as Kai. He had awoken to a loud bark by a nearby dog and then by the sharp blow of his shoulder landing right on the cold, hard ground below. He cussed, shook his head free of the cobwebs and then he felt his gut telling him to go into the forest. Normally, he would not even dare to try and follow his gut, considering an unreliable stream of information. However, he felt that he had to this time. Why? He could not answer the simple question, but he knew that if he had an answer, it would be as stupid as waking up to a mere bark of a stray dog. So, he merely dressed in his dark green zip-up hoodie, a black tank-top ripped right above his abdomen and put on any shorts he found, which turned out to be his black cargo, and took off toward the edge of the forest.

As he had neared the edge of the forest, he felt an ominous feeling again in his gut. The mist surrounding the tree's and the cold, dead silence erupting from deep within the confines was enough to make his blood chill and the small hairs on his neck stand up. Before he ventured further, he had taken he kunai he had in his waistband and marked three tree's with a "K", to show that this was where he was. It was a simple move, but this may be what saved him if he, by any chance, was attacked and had to run for his life. After that had been done, he stuck the blade again in his waistband, took a deep breath, and ventured inward.

Now, he seemed to regret it.

As he walked deeper and deeper, he noticed that the small amount of sunlight that had brightened up his day had all but stayed with him. The canopies above him were so thick that all light that tried to break through was caught and negated entrance. Kai looked around his surroundings, seeing the tree's sway in the small breezes that seemed to come up every now and again. The bark looked old...very old. This forest was probably here even before any of his family of anyone else ha arrived here in Kiri and decided to make a village in seemingly nowhere. Sighing, Kai felt his gut shudder. It shuddered for two very valid reasons: he was hungry and he was nervous. Hungry? He had not eaten before he ventured here and really, that was incredibly stupid for him. He had not even brought a power bar or something of the sort. Nervous? He did not like where he was. He felt like he was venturing to a forgotten place and this was not something he liked. Kai clutched his gut with his right hand and held his breath, closing his eyes and trying to quench the feeling. It subsided for a good enough amount of time, but he still felt the knives of hunger and worry stabbing inside his gut. This was not going to be an easy trip on his part.

"Just a bit further. If I don't see anything, I'm outta here." Kai said to himself, withdrawing his had from his gut and tucking it inside his pockets with his other hand. Just as he was about to walk further, he heard voices. The sudden silence being broken, Kai braced himself and quickly dashed to the nearest tree, pressing his back on the cold bark and holding his breath. His eyes narrowed as he stuck his head out slightly and tried to peer out further, catching he outlines of what looked like people in the distance. The voices were inaudible, but he could tell by the tone and the pitches that it was a female and a male. However, the silhouettes that he saw was three, so one must not be conversing. Was it another male? Or a female? Also...were they Kiri Ninja or did Kai just stumble upon something that he would soon regret stumbling upon.

"Suck it up...and go." Kai said to himself through clenched teeth as he stepped away from the tree and wheeled towards the three people. He kept walking towards them, but slowly to not antagonize them by just dashing in to the middle of them. The sounds of the leaves and twigs of the earth kept on crunching and Kai cussed at it. Dammit, they would hear him. As he got closer, Kai took another deep breath and prayed. Please, let them be friendly and not people he would have to fight. Even though he was tough, he knew that he would not fair well against three.

"Hello? Sorry, but...Uhh...got kinda lost." Kai said sheepishly as he finally found himself closer to the others. He finally could see that it was three: one female and two males. The female was quite attractive and the other two looked quite dangerous. Kiri protectors...good thing his was on his waist where he wanted it. Kai felt his gut relax; at least they were friendly.

He watched Irumi examine him, chuckling lightly, and he flexed, wanting to show off his muscles to the beautiful woman. Completely undaunted by her coldness, Phobos smiled, though it quite literally pained his face to do so, and said "Quite sure Mist Lily-chan, I've just been out here hunting for a couple days, I wanted to get some fresh meat, but a bear found my camp and I didn't want to die" After he said this, he sighed and streched. "So why were you leaving the main group of people here?" he asked, wanting to find out more about this mysterious woman, whom he was quite attracted to.
