"Thank you, but if you wouldn't mind taking care of it for me? Or perhaps you were just meant to have 2." He truly smiles for the first time in many many years, he nods to Sea. "they are very cute, are they your sisters?"

“Balloon,” Sea repeated, staring hard at the object, “a balloon, is it?” she asked herself, curiously poking at the blue floating object tied to her right hand.

“Sea-sama are you new here or,”

The girl turned to the younger duo, a finger laid to her lips, “New,” she pondered for a while, thinking, “You can say that.” Sea beamed down and found Ayako handing one of her balloons to the boy sitting next to them. Smiling, Sea abruptly ceased from continuing her words and thought about how she would explain herself when the girls asked her again.

The two bowed to the boy "Thank you very much for your kindness" they said turning back to Sea.

“You can say that.”

"Ano.." the two began with hesitation "if its not too much trouble could you tell me where you're from?". A natural look of curiosity spread across their faces as they looked into the eyes of the girl in front of them. Yet at the same time they pondered their own origins feeling it would be rude not to be able to answer their own question...

“From a land far, far away,” Sea said softly, resting her face in her palm. “It’s been years since I left; and know what, I wouldn’t call it land, really- since...”

The bluenette paused, smiling sweetly while staring at the octopus logo swimming on a drawn out ocean. Drifting her mind back to her world, Sea felt a little sad for leaving, but wasn’t regretful of her decisions. She loves the outside world, much like she loves her own; her natural curiosity and adventure seeking heart was enough to drive her into making a drastic change to her life,

“Would you believe me if I told you I was a mermaid?” Sea twirled a single lock on her short hair and recalled how long they were when she was in her true form.

“Would you believe me if I told you I was a mermaid?”

"Mer...maid?" the girls said glancing from the face of the girl down to her legs. Believing in magical creatures wasn't so hard as the girls could turn around in this festival alone and find elves, centaurs, and kitsunes standing around enjoying a drink or playing games. But, the girl in front of them lacked any of the usual signs of being a mermaid. "I see no reason you would lie to me..." the girls scanned her once again "but..how do you breathe on land and wheres your tail or fins or gills or..." the girls looked into her eyes "Umm not to offend you or anything sea-sama" they muttered hoping they hadn't offended her by using some kind of mermaid stereotypes.

Zegethys

Vaseari grinned and looked down the end of the tunnel they were hurtling towards. "So, I have a variety of creatures i hold in thrall, and basically it goes, the worse the damage it will inflict, the harder it will be to take down, and one of my creatures quite literally will never go down unless I tell it to" He took out what seemed like a wand case of some sort, the exterior was carved with all manor of runes, from runes of power and sealing to runes of constraint and return.

He opened it and lining both of its silken interior were many small marbles. Each marble was inscribed with a rune of power, the rune of sealing perfectly inlaid with the rune for power. Each sealing rune had a geometric polygon representing how powerful the seal was. "The more sides the rune has, the more powerful the creature" he explained, though he was pretty sure she knew that.

The Drowlich softly ran the tip of his finger over the marble in the bottom left corner of the case, longing to see his pet which no one else possesed in all of existence. That rune in particular was incredibly powerful, the polygon having so many sides without close inspection it seemed to be a circle."I shall be releasing this under my command" He selected a marble which was inlaid with a 77-gon. "You may use any but the last, only I can control that creature, just heed my warning, since unlike me, you care if this world is destroyed."

He offered the coffer to the woman and continued grinning, knowing that no matter what she picked, it would likly destroy at least one tenth of the city before it was done."I shall explian the powers of my own demon and yours when get to where we shall release them" he said as a sidenote, not wanting his newly aquired partner to die from ignorance.

Sea giggled, “Oh, that?” she gazed down at her legs and the dainty toes on her feet, “I change to my true form at will when I’m under water,” she explained.

“It was quite funny when I first tied to walk with my feet; I was really wobbly and fell down several times- took me sometime before I got used to it.” Sea explained further, rubber her knee as she stared in wonder, “the breathing part though, was easy since we mermaids can breathe in and out of water, regardless of time. Isn’t it great?”

Kuromi shrugged, “the creature is of your choice.” She waved through the air and slashed an opening to the outside world.

“However,” she grunted warningly, “evil creatures are easily repelled in this land. Unlike in other parts of this world, the Forest of Maze is bound by magic; magic that prevents evil to lurk freely inside to cause trouble. Sooner or later, you’ll feel its effect. No wizard, sorceress or lich could oppose it. Hence why I use very little black magic here.”

Vaseari cocked an eyebrow "So that's the tickle i've been feeling in the back of my throat?" He grinned even wider and looked at her "Well then, here is the creature you might like" he handed her a marble inlaid with a 50-gon. "This is a creature of chaos, of true neutrality, it has no alignment, only destruction fuels it"

He loved challenges, the one thing he loved better was conquering those challenges in ingenious ways, Vaseari held up his marble and said "This is a creature of the purest evil, but it does not truly exist on this plane, it moves in and out of the planes, entering directly into peoples' minds, showing them the truest esscense of evil. This drives most people insane or to suicide" He said with a devilish grin, hardly able to contain his excitement over a mass slaughter.

The young man stands and listens to Sea speak of being a mermaid, he thinks for a minute and then speaks up again
"what would the name of your homeland be miss?" he didn't know her name so he could not use it, he then remembers that he has not given his.
"My name's Ghost, whats yours?"

[Forest of Maze – GM Post]

Kuromi was delighted as she seared from the portal out to the spot where they first met; the evil aura that surrounded her had gone away, left with only a façade of a sweet, kind and young flower vendor.

“You can’t release your pet here,” she smiled sweetly at him, “far too dangerous and risky. The town is heavily guarded by magic, but since the Forest has let down its guard, you can summon your creature from outside town. A little dramatic entry never hurt anyone; besides, raving this little town all too easily is no fun; evil, but not entertaining.”

The girl bowed down, faking another pleasant emotion, “I’ll meet you there in a few. For now, I’ll have to distract my sister.” Raising her hand, Kuromi bid him a quick goodbye and began to fade along with the huge crowd.

“I’m Sea, from the Kingdom of Azurean,” the young female slightly bowed her head in respect and beamed up cheerfully, “pleased to meet you Ghost-san.”

Looking at the young man before her, Sea was distracted by the crowd that swept here and there. She had never noticed how many different creatures had roamed Town, and she was surprised to see some familiar faces during her journey. It was simply wonderful; she had been to many festivals during her time at Azurean, but the different scenery here had captivated her curiosity. Though she had traveled a lot, Sea was still a little oblivious about the outside world, and she was out to discover more about it.
