| Saint of the Holy 『Administrator』 ARCANITE!! | Situation: "So you have graduated Michelangelo?" Standing before you is a somewhat scruffy and rough male. The man pulls a cigarette in his mouth. "So are you an official ARMs Agent or not?" You simply nod in agreeance watching this man. "Good. Means I won't be overstepping my jurisdictions having you go on a bit of an 'easy' mission for me." He extends his hand. "My name is Major-Instructor Jarrod Flete. I will be administering you on your first assignment." You shake his hand and wonder what you have gotten yourself into. "Come let me introduce you to the rest of your party." Instructor Flete walks towards the center conference room with you at tow. GM Notes: This is a first time play. You can only do this mission once. You have 3 Confirmed party members. REDGM-Michelangelo Keightsinger, FLR-Lucius Fervidus, and FLR-Sanada Myojin. 1 Slot is still available for the quest. Your danger rating is 1/10. Completion is after 75 posts. On post 76 you will receive the "Untainted Rhea" unless engaged in battle which it will be earned on the post you complete the battle. If all members are KO'd before the 75th post you fail the quest. GOOD GAMING!!

| Anime Fan ARCANITE!! | Myojin stood leaning against the wall in the barren room. It was put together nicely, but it was devoid of major features, with the exception of the large desk and various look-alike chairs that all converged to make the center of the room. Then again, what more could be necessary of a room that was made for the express purposes of conference? Myojin cleared his throat. "So, I take it you're new to ARMs too?" He asked, looking over at the Levan that stood a short distance away. For Myojin, this would make his first real mission, setting aside all the contingency scenarios presented to him back in his academy training. He wasn't sure what his job as an officialized ARMs agent would detail, but he was fairly certain it wouldn't be anything that he, nor the team he was being prescribed, would be incapable of handling. | Guest | The swift pacing of elegant feet across the floor sounded against the otherwise silent conference room. The levan, tall, slender and elvish in appearance peered over at his comrade, tilting its head to one side. "Yep. I'm as new as you are." It replied softly to the much shorter Joka's question. However, one major thing was bothering the much larger levan... "But... do you know why these things are our standard issue weapons?" The levan inquired, pulling out a kitchen blade from its crudely constructed 'sheathe'. "And why life jackets?" The levan continued on, it was obviously either very nervous about being on its first real mission or very curious about the inner workings of ARMs. More specifically, how these crude weapons and armor were supposed to defend them. "Ahh... nevermind." The levan finally stated, swaying it's left arm back and forth carelessly, signaling to its Joka comrade that it wasn't worth thinking about in such great detail. After all, it was only a passing thought. Sighing softly to itself, the levan finally sat down onto one of the chairs of the conference room, awaiting someone to come in to brief them on exactly what they were supposed to do - and possibly give an explanation of why there were only two operatives on this mission. --I guess grunts never know anything-- The levan thought darkly to itself, pondering heinous experimentations of sending soldiers into battle with life vests and dull knives to see how 'effective' mass murder would be against their unknown enemy. | Saint of the Holy 『Administrator』 ARCANITE!! | "I presume you two got to know each other?" Jarrod takes a drag of his cigarette walking into the room followed by the new administrative officer. "My name is Major-Instructor Jarrod Flete, I am the 3rd in command of the Rio De Janeiro branch of ARMs." Slowly walking in behind Instructor Flete, Michelangelo sits in the seat nearest to the door. "My name is Michelangelo Keightsinger. I am a new instructor. Like really new." Nervously shifting in his seat Michelangelo takes off his rapier and places it on the table top. He looks around at the standard gear and smiles. "So I guess you guys are newer then I am?" He giggles again. "I remember I couldn't afford a new armor set until I was Rank 10 Freelancer. I'll say those little knives saved my hind alot." Instructor Flete coughs slightly signalling he is ready to start the briefing. "Before we get down to business, Michelangelo. Is there a name these two can call you because I get tired just thinking of your name." Michelangelo nods hard almost to the point his head looks like it will snap. "Yes yes. YOU GUYS CAN CALL ME KITE!"

| Anime Fan ARCANITE!! | "YOU GUYS CAN CALL ME KITE!" Myojin was barely able to contain the grimace that tried so desperately to smear itself across his face, trying to maintain his composure and lock eyes with this man that he would now refer to as 'Kite,' at least until further orders. With a few deliberate steps, Myojin came to the desk, placing his hands on a knife that had been laying there since it was removed from his person about half an hour prior, as he stole a glance at the Levan. "Better than nothing." He said, tugging on the vest over his body, checking that it was securely fastened. He flashed a grin of canine-teeth at his comrade, then secured his features and looked at his Instructor. "When do we move out, Kite?" |

| Guest | The androgynous levan delicately placed the knife back into its make-shift sheathe and like his Joka comrade, double checked his vest to make sure that it was fully secured. After all, with such limited abilities, one had to be as careful as possible not to get killed. The Levan quietly listened to the two superior officers as they conversed with one another about exactly what the mission leader's code name would be. After what seemed to be very little debate, the name "Kite" was chosen. --Why Kite?-- The levan immediately thought to itself. Then again, why not Kite? Was the thought that immediately followed this initial question. "Indeed. Better than bare fists." The Levan quietly replied, trying as best as possible to still have a gleaming smile upon its lips despite obvious nerves of its first mission. The real question on the levan's mind was not a matter of 'moving out' but rather possible encounters on the mission. Not much had been said about it other than 'look for untainted Rhea'. This in itself brought up two problems. The first was - Lucius had no idea what "Rhea" was. And the second was - What could taint Rhea, and was it dangerous to levans? |

| Saint of the Holy 『Administrator』 ARCANITE!! | "Kite...cause my lastname is Keightsinger..." Kite grins nervously. "Dorky I know but it's been with me all of my life." While leaning forward, Kite reachs inside is red mail and pulls out a rusty knife. "I never leave home without mine." Instructor Flete taps on the board against the wall. "Hi, remember me? Are we going to get to the mission at hand?" He puts off his cigarette then snaps to lower the lights as an image forms on the board. "Say hello to our mission fellows." I picture of a Rhea shows up on the board. "This small ostrich like creature is the reason you will be sent out today. A team confirmed seeing an untainted Rhea on the border of San Paolo and Rio De Janeiro." Kite butts in, "Sir the Rhea has been wiped out since 2119 when the Gray spread there arm of influence here. It seems unlikely that even through that intense of natural selection one would still exist." Instructor Flete claps, "Now you understand why this specimen is so important? With one Rhea female or male we can synthesize the DNA needed to make more of them. To regain the balance over the Gray we need to fertilize the land with natural creatures." Kite nods. "Understood." Flete snaps again as the lights come up. "I am not going to beat around the bush." He sits in the seat at the head of the table. "I really want an Epic Rank team to go on this mission but seems they found some remains of an ancient blue whale which they have all of the teams from Rio De Janeiro taking that to the Francia HQ in Paris then will be dispatched to protect the freighters to Australia to dump off some more Gray in the prison, but I am settling." He lights a new cigarette. "I would happily settle for a descendant of Antoine Jackson. Right Kite..." He takes a drag and blows out the smoke. "Leave...it's 1 day (10 posts) to the border by foot. Make sure these guys get some experience. DISMISSED!" Kite stands up and yells, "YESSIR! Agents we leave now."

| Guest | --Wow... these two seem to know each other well. Knowing the Joka's name may come in very handy for this mission-- The levan thought to itself quietly, pondering why a mission to save a random bird was so important to their cause. Then again, aside from domestic animals specifically reared and genetically 'incubated' for several decades, there really were no other animals around to be seen. Because of the relatively young age of the levan, despite its elven-esque roots, could not fathom a world covered in these strange looking birds. As the levan was just beginning to space out, a loud sound brought it back to this reality. No longer was it in a world where mutant chickens called "Rhea" threatening to over-populate the world with their large legs and oddly shaped beaks, instead... the young levan soldier was about to save what was possibly the last levan alive. "Ack--" The levan sounded out as the superior officer named "Kite" seemed to shoot to an affirmative confidant tone. "Uhh... Kite. Uhh.. sir. Before we leave, shouldn't you learn our names?" The levan stated in a slightly nervous voice, smiling widely but stupidly at its superior officer. --He seems rather headstrong, I hope we'll be ok.-- The levan thought jokingly to itself, carefully pondering the day that would lay ahead of them if they had to get to this mutant chicken through the gray. "My name is Lucius, I guess you can call me Lucy if you wish... or Levan is fine too." The levan stated softly, getting up - once more checking the fastens on its life vest. |

| Saint of the Holy 『Administrator』 ARCANITE!! | "Sorry about that. This being my first mission as an instructor. Guess I want it to just start already." Kite begins to put back on his rapier. "Come you two?" He scratches his head leaving the room. 'Seems everyone knows his family history. Guess the name Keightsinger sticks out a bit too much. Descendant of Antoine Jackson. Co-Founder of ARMs.' Leaving the Rio De Janeiro HQ the team heads into the wilderness. "So you guys heard Instructor Flete. We are going to have to get you guys fighting. So I will look out for things around our Rank to fight." GM Notes: Day Post Count is based on the GM posting. After the post hits 10 you will be at your destination.

| Anime Fan ARCANITE!! | Myojin fastened his knife to his waist, following his instructor, falling behind to the same distance that the young Levan, 'Lucius,' was travelling behind their instructor. As the Levan gave one last tug on his life jacket, so did the Joka. "My experience dealing with the Gray is limited, but I will do all that I can to support you, Instructor Kite." He said as they made their way out of an open door and into the tropical warmth that was Rio De Janeiro. It felt nice to get out of the building, but it would be a long walk until they made it to their destination. The border was roughly 40 miles away, and what the Major-Instructor had said was true: even with few necessary and time-restrained food and resting breaks in between, it would consume almost the entirety of a full day to reach their destination. 'This ought to be an interesting day...' Myojin thought, as they began their journey. |
