Instructor Flete calls you into the third administrative offices. "Ahhhh...seems we are pumping out new agents day in and day out." He looks you up and down as he puts a cigarette in his mouth. "You sure don't look like much." Flete lights his cigarette.

"I have a simple mission for you newbie." The Major-Instructor takes a deep drag of his cigarette then blows it out of his nose. "I want you to go to the Shoreline and watch the shipments coming in for the academy. Seems we have been having alot of robberies happen there. Might be some small cartel but all in all I want 'THIS' delivery to make it here on time."

You nods as he appears to be finished.

Major-Instructor Flete notes, "Make sure that cargo gets back here safely or it's your ass."

GM Notes:
This is a first time play. You can only do this mission once. You have confirmed a solo campaign with GM AID. REDGM-Michelangelo Keightsinger & FLR-Arcadia Your danger rating is 1/10. Completion is after 25 posts. On post 26 you will have protected the "Seaside Freight" unless engaged in battle which it will be earned on the post you complete the battle. If all members are KO'd before the 25th post you fail the quest.

Major-Instructor Flete notes, "Make sure that cargo gets back here safely or it's your ass."

Arcadia scoffed as she left the offices. Safety. She knew it, she only wish the Duke she was formerly employed by understood the severity of the situation the world faced. Damn geezer couldn't even bring himself to part with that old relic he used to have her use for a rifle. She unsheathed the weapon they had given her. A Kitchen knife. It wasn't even a foot long, how could she fight with this. Looking around to make sure no one was in range, Arcadia hefted the blade into a throwing position. Not a bad balance.

With a light throw she sent the blade spiralling towards a small tree, satisfied when it hit with a THUD! She sauntered over to the tree to pick up her knife. At least it was good for range. Sheathing it, she headed towards the exit of the office area. There was a small area of benches outside, one of which she comandeered for herself, sitting down briefly to think over her mission.

A cargo watch, possible cartel involvement. A simple mission, but as she has seen in the past, growing up in the service of a duke, simple did not always turn out to be simple. She began to run over the possibilities in her mind.

"If there are no cartel this time, that would be the best possible situation. However, as the Major sent me out this way, he at least knows there will be some problems. So I should at least expect to see maybe, say, a small group of thugs at minimum."

Arcadia kept going over these possiblities, coming to the conclusion that it may be best to just be prepared for anything. With the grey these days, and with anything, you could never know what would happen.

Peeks up over the paper. "Sorry...I saw your name and thought you might be from Francia like me." Young man coughs. "I am 1st Lieutenent-Instructor Michelangelo H. Keightsinger IV. You can call me 'Kite'. I will be accompanying you this mission."

Kite smiles and extends his hand. "We should go see the foreman at the docks. He will have all information we need to get started."

Arcadia glanced down, seeing the young boy at her side. She had heard several of the higher ups were younger, but she had not seen any of them to confirm the rumor.

"Ensign Arcadia, heading to Copacabana Beach? Wow...vous devez être de la Francia aussi. Comment les saisons maintenant à Marseille?" Peeks up over the paper. "Sorry...I saw your name and thought you might be from Francia like me." Young man coughs. "I am 1st Lieutenent-Instructor Michelangelo H. Keightsinger IV. You can call me 'Kite'. I will be accompanying you this mission."

Arcadia was surprised, the boy spoke the language with such grace, it was a rarity even in Francia. Arcadia stood up, acknowledging the young man. "Ah, no, I'm sorry. The Duke I was employed under was a former citizen of America, he forbade me to speak in my birth language, and as such I... I cannot remember the language, it's been almost 20 years."

"We should go see the foreman at the docks. He will have all information we need to get started."

Arcadia nodded. The boy was on track, he didn't mince words. Arcadia nodded and followed after the boy. Arcadia was still fairly new to this area, and as such she still had yet to get the lay of the land completely.

"Ah, Kite, sir." Arcadia spoke up, following the boy. "I do hope there will be a way to comandeer a replacement for this vest here at some point." Arcadia thumbed the life vest. "It isn't exactly flattering..."

Kite blinks listening to his subordinant, "That life vest has saved many lives. So be glad we issue them." He looks blankly at Arcadia. "I'd be more worried about you being able to handle your own without dying." Kite waves for Arcadia to follow him.

Area: Copacabana Beach, Du Monte Docks

"Hmmm..." Kite looks at his watch. "Isn't it rather earlier for it to be so...quiet?"

Voice comes from behind Arcadia & Kite. "The silence is the beginning of your worries." Kite turns around to see an elderly man with a hardhat on.

"And you are?" He asks the old man.

The elderly man huffs at Kite, "For ARMs agents you sure are rude." The man coughs can continues, "I am Foreman Eduardo Silva. This freight dock is usually bussling but today seems to be a giant exception."

"Pourqoui?" Kite asks.

"Oh god you're a frenchy...if you are going to speak to me in MY tongue it's
'Porquê'. Anyways...we get in about 600 tons of cargo a day. But this is just like 20 years ago."

Kite blinks quickly trying absorb what he has heard, "What happened 20 years ago?"

Eduardo glares at Kite. "The Gray Saint Alto showed up and claimed freight destine for the Amazon Desert."

Kite tilts his head, "I have heard of Saint Alto. It's a very large fish type Gray right? But that doesn't explain why you are the only person around."

"He claims my man as well. I heard you ARMs classify his type as an Gray EX1." Foreman rubs the sweat from his brow.

"REALLY!!! HE IS AN EX1!!!" Kite damn near jumps 10 feet in the air in excitement.

Arcadia listened intently to the conversation between the foreman and Kite. Arcadia had done her reading, so she was very familiar with the terms accompanying the types of gray. EX1, not exactly common, and not exactly an easy kill either. Highly worth the time to go out of their way and kill it.

Kite grabs Arcadia's arm and pull her to the side. "EXCITING HUH!?!"

Arcadia nodded. "I'm all for it, sir. I know I'm probably not a match for it by myself, but with your experience I'm confident we can turn this Gray Saint into sushi." Arcadia added a joke to her grumbling stomach's reaction to the though of Sushi. "Too bad it's taited meat though, I could go for some sushi right now..." Arcadia fingered the hilt of her knife.

"Let's go kill this Saint Alto, shall we?"

"Hehe yes, yes we are!!!" Kite squeals into the air like a little girl. "That decides it. We are off to see the wizard!!" Kite pick by her waist throws her over his shoulder. "Be stead madam we are moving down th road." He sits her in the boat. "We are off to see the wizard. The wonderful wizard of OZ." Kite jumps in the boat and kicks it off the dock.

"Well we are sure to get in some battles so is there anything about combat you would like to know?" Kite smiles questioning Arcadia.

Arcadia paused for a moment. It would probably be good if she went over the basics again. Hunting Gray was far different from hunting regular animals, and thus the more practice she had the better.

"Hmm, Probably good to run over combat basics once more, you can never be too careful when going into a battle, right?"

Each weapon has two things that make battle extremely easy. ATK(Attack) and SPEED. You need the ATK value to determine your WATK (Weapon Attack) which is simply just STR*Class+WSTR.

Once you get the WATK value you can now determine your DPP (Damage per Post). To get the DPP you do WATK * Number of Strikes. Determining your number of strikes is easy. It's 100/(SPEED*100). I.E. if your speed is 0.2 your number of strikes is 5 or 100/20. From there you can simply just do Strikes * WATK and there is your DPP.
