It's just about the most popular (and the best) blogging software around. Of course, I believe Drupal is more robust in it's MU features. |

Its completely customizable as its open source software. With wordpress, it seems good enough but not the best IMO. Its good for blogging and stuff that revolves around posts, like the poetry site Lien used to run. Wordpress worked really well for something like that.
